Some Days You Want to Quit: Finding Strength When Life Isn’t ‘Good’”

Elisha Motivating about good and bad days

Hello Folks,
Hope you all are having a great season,

Also it reminds me that, If no one has told you today, let me be the first: it’s okay if today wasn’t your best day.

I’ve learned through my journey as a mother, leader, and mentor that not every day is a good day. Some days feel heavy. Some days you want to hide under the covers or even quit altogether. I’ve been there too.

But here’s the truth: those hard days don’t define you. They refine you.

The Lesson Hidden in the Hard Days

When life feels overwhelming, I remind myself of this simple truth: rest is not quitting. Pausing does not mean you’ve failed. It means you’re human.

And in those quiet moments, when doubt tries to speak louder than faith, I return to my why: my family, my faith, my purpose to inspire and lift others. That’s what pulls me forward—even on the toughest days.

How to Keep Going When You Feel Like Quitting

Here are five practices I use, and maybe they’ll serve you too:

  1. Say it out loud. Admit, “Today is hard.” Naming it gives you power over it.

  2. Give yourself grace. You don’t have to do it all today.

  3. Reconnect to your “why.” Let your purpose be louder than your pressure.

  4. Take one small step. Progress doesn’t need to be big—it just needs to begin.

  5. Lean on your people. We are not meant to carry everything alone.

My Message to You

If you’re reading this on a tough day, hear me clearly: you are enough. You are stronger than this moment, and you are worthy of the future you’re building.

So don’t quit. Rest if you need to, reset if you must—but rise again.
